Super Twin Cutoff Saw

The super twin cutoff saw gives you the strength and durability of the Golden Eagle single cutoff with the added benefit of dual saws. The dual saws enable you to increase production but still be able to select cut, keeping waste at a minimum. The second saw enables the operator to clamp and cut 30" to 48" by a predetermined set up. The operator can select dual or single cutting with hand controls.

Each saw unit is powered by a 25HP ODP motor with heavy duty 5 belt drive. Uses a 22" carbide tipped blade (1 3/8" bore). Minimum cut 24", maximum cut 7'6" on single cutoff with 8' outfeed.

33' live (forward-reverse) rolls (25' infeed rolls, 8' outfeed rolls) 5 1/2" diameter with 1 7/16" shafts and #60 sprockets for long life. Rolls are factory set at 100 FPM powered by motor and gear reducer.

The cant turner (4 x 6's and 6 x 8's only) and auxiliary clamp located on the infeed rolls enable the operator to inspect and turn the cant with touch of hand controls.

The sweeparm and 4 movable stops are located in the outfeed rolls. The sweeparm enables the operator to sweep off any piece he does not want to run through the gang. Sweeparms move cants towards operator side of rolls away from fence. Later he would be able to run these or take to another area.
